The Nepal House Society held its second Annual Board Meeting on September 16th, 2009. The meeting was attended by board member, friends and returning volunteers. The business part of the meeting showed that the efforts of the members have resulted in a much healthier bank account. Gretchen Ladd gave a presentation on her work at Nepal House Kaski in Pokhara as she shared her skills as an art therapist with our staff and the greater community. Gretchen Ladd, Michelle Crowley and Camille Traverse were honoured for their volunteer efforts in Nepal. Marty and Darcy Billinkoff provided a brief update on their upcoming trip to Nepal and their fund raising climb to Mt. Everest's base camp.
