We are pleased to announce that Darcy and Marty Billinkoff will be heading off to Nepal this October to trek up to Everest Base Camp, undoubtedly one of the most famous hikes in the world, to raise funds and awareness for Nepal House Society. Starting from Lukla, they will be hiking for 18 days, surrounded by breathtaking scenery, as they pass by friendly Sherpa villages and Buddhist monasteries. The climb will take them to an altitude of 5,545 metres (18,192 ft) at Kala Pattar, for a magnificent view of Everest before arriving at Base Camp.
Their goal is to raise one year’s operating costs for Nepal House Kaski, our Nepali operation. They will be paying personally for all costs associated with their hike and 100% of all monies raised will be sent to support NHK.
